How long have you been in business?
South Cherokee/Jasper Driver Improvement Clinic, Inc. has been in business since 1980 and was the first Driving School to offer DUI/Risk Reduction, Defensive Driving and New Driver Training in Woodstock.
What is your primary product or service?
South Cherokee prides itself in being a full service school providing for the needs of the driving public. We offer: New Driver Training, Behind-the-Wheel instruction,Third Party Testing (dreaded road test) only available to students who complete our 30/6 New Driver Training Course, Defensive Driving , and DUI/Risk Reduction classes. Drug and Alcohol evaluations and ASAM level I treatment groups are also available.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Osa worked for the original owner of the business for 12 years, and enjoyed it so much, that on his retirement, when he offered the business to us we bought it. Previously we both worked for The Salvation Army in three states, Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia, credentialed in the field of substance abuse.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We believe that we bring a level of attention to all of our customers that only a family can bring. We go the extra mile to be able to meet all of our students driving needs. Our community involvement includes: business service organizations including Main Street Woodstock and the Pickens County Chamber of Commerce. We help sponsor local high school athletic programs, offer scholarships to community based programs such as the North Georgia Boys and Girls Club. We have two locations: 176 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, Ga. and our satellite office at 1623 East Church Street Ste B, Jasper, Ga.

Our two locations are: Woodstock: We are between Interstate 575 and Main Street at 176 Towne Lake Parkway. Jasper: We are between the Jasper City limits and Pickens High School at 1623 East Church Street Suite B.

We accept Cash, Major Credit Cards; Debit cards, PayPal and Personal Checks.
Which areas do you service?
We primarily serve Cobb, Cherokee, Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin counties. but we have had students from as far away as Alaska.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We are a family held corporation, owned by Gene & Osa Martens; our daughter Jenna is the Office Manager.
What are your hours of operation?
